I collaborated with A&M Landscaping, a veteran-owned landscaping company based in Sewell, New Jersey, to design and develop their website, creating an online presence that communicates their extensive experience and range of services.
The goal
A homeowner looking for lawn care wants to know three things: what the company does, whether it works in their town, and how to get an estimate. I built the site so those answers are on screen right away. The phone number and a Free Estimate button sit in the header of every page.
What I built
The homepage opens with a lawn care hero and a free estimate form, then an overview of six services: custom flower beds and plantings, lawn care, lawn aeration and seeding, mulching, tree and shrub planting, and holiday lighting installation. A gallery of project photos and a blog preview follow.
Each core service has its own page: custom flower planting, professional lawn care, professional lawn seeding, mulching services, and tree and shrub planting. The lawn care page breaks the routine into inspection, mowing, edging, mulching, fertilization and disease control, then closes with a photo gallery. The mulching page covers the benefits of quality mulch, a four-step process, residential and commercial work, and when to refresh.
The About page explains that the company is owned and operated by a retired U.S. Navy veteran, then covers its mission, what sets it apart and its services, with a contact section and estimate form at the bottom. The company's New Jersey contractor license number appears in the footer.
Built for local search
Page titles and headings name the service and Sewell, NJ, so each page is clear about what it offers and where. Service pages have their own URLs, the site has a sitemap, and a blog gives the company a place to publish seasonal lawn and garden advice. Every page ends with a way to call or request an estimate.
