Christmas Decor is a holiday and year-round lighting franchise with decorators across the US and Canada. In 2023 I designed and built the brand's corporate website on WordPress. The screenshots on this page show that 2023 design. The company has since launched a newer site.
The goal
A national franchise site has two jobs: explain the service to homeowners and businesses, and hand each visitor to the local decorator who covers their address. The design had to do both without sending people through pages of brand history first.
What I built
The homepage opens with one headline, a short description of the full-service program, and a single button: Find your local decorator. Directly below, four cards split visitors by need: residential holiday lighting, commercial and municipal lighting, year-round lighting installation and landscape lighting installation.
A How It Works page walks through design consultation, installation, maintenance, take-down and storage. The Decorators page lets visitors look up their local franchise in the US or Canada by address. The navigation also carries catalogs, FAQ, franchise information and a blog.
Built for a franchise network
Every page points to the decorator finder, so the corporate site sends leads to the franchise owner in that territory. The related lighting brands are shown in a logo strip under the hero.
